• Katie's World

  Katie's world involves many different areas:

  • involves her husband.   He was able to enjoy some much needed guy time a couple of weeks ago and go see MU/KU basketball with his best friend.  They had so much fun.  I am blessed to have a husband who loves me and cherishes me.
  • involves her classroom.  This week I just enjoyed the kids in my class and felt blessed.  I ran and played tag with them.  I gave lots of hugs from just loving them to fixing ouchies.  I saw joy on their faces on PJ/Teddy Bear Day.  They loved there pj's and animals they brought and were proud to show them off. They make me laugh from the joy of their wonderment and excitement. 
  • involves friends.  I was able to go to breakfast with a friend today to celebrate her birthday.  She and I had not been able to really talk for a bit and it was good to catch up with one another.  She is such a beautiful person inside and out. 
  • involves Celebrate Recovery Step Study.  This week we have been working on Powerless - which are our "serenity robbers".  Serenity Robbers are pride, only ifs, worry, escape, resentments, loneliness, emptiness, selfishness, separation.
